Religious Messages

It is vital to be aware of what the piece of information that is presented to
you really says - to look at it with your intelligence. Misleading information
that is adopted by you as the truth, as a belief, can even derail your
spiritual evolution and affect your health. When it comes to religious
messages, this is especially important. Religious believes can affect you
in a deep emotional and energy way, and their effects can go with you
to the following incarnation(s), until you resolve them*.
Religious messages come in different forms, such as songs, hymns,
written text, sermons.
As an example, let's look at one of the most famous Christian hymns,
Amazing Grace. The music is beautiful, and many of the words are
very nice. However, when viewed with intelligence, several incongruencies
(disharmonious things), and even two dangerous snares are revealed.
The following is the text of Amazing Grace, and below are revealing
comments about the text.
Amazing grace! (how sweet the sound)
That sav’d a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev’d;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ’d!
Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promis’d good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.
Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call’d me here below,
Will be forever mine.
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun.
The first dangerous snare.
The first verse, the second line says: "saved a wretch like me".
According to Merriam-Webster's Dictionary, "wretch" means:
1) a miserable unhappy person; 2) a base, despicable, or vile person.
Synonyms are: beast; devil; evildoer; fiend; villain; rogue; rascal; etc.
When you accept the "wretch like me" - that is when you
repeat it without understanding of what it means and what it can do to you,
you basically use a manifestation statement to create your reality.
Because you are not a wretch, regardless of what you've done,
when you blindly repeat the words, you can create an incongruence
(a disharmony) in you energy field, which can (and would) weaken you,
thus possibly open you to further negative influences, to a
Divide, Conquer, and Rule scenario.
The second dangerous snare.
The second verse, the first line says: "'Twas grace that taught my heart
to fear" ('Twas means it was). Who knows who that Grace that taught his
heart to fear was (what a wicked woman), but it surely wasn't Gods' grace.
God is love, and love is God; fear and love are incompatible things.
Gods (or Christ) cannot teach you to fear. Gods can let you experience fear, but
that's a different scenario. Fear shrinks, stiffens, and closes; to approach Gods
(symbolically speaking), you need to be relaxed and open.
If your intent is to evolve spiritually, it's vital to beware of everyone that tries to
tell you to fear God, Angels, Christ. There is no good, positive fear. That's
impossible. Fear can be an indicator that something is wrong, or that something
is dangerous, which can be beneficial as an indicator; but fear by itself is a negative,
low-energy emotion.
On the other hand, yes - Gods' grace can relieve you of your fears. Love is the most
powerful energy, and it dissolves all the negative stuff.
Other incongruent words.
The second verse, the last line says: "The hour I first believed!"
Believing is superficial and doesn't save anyone. Understanding is deep and
does save. From the page Love-tionary, you might now know
that believing in God or Christ cannot save you. The correct
statement is "be living in God or Christ and you are saved".
It's "be living", not "believing". It's a small difference in how
it sounds, and a profound difference in what it means.
(Note: Understanding comes from experiencing knowledge. For example, you
might know that stepping in a dog poop is not pleasant, but it is when you actually
step into one that you understand it.)
Throughout the hymn there is the use of the future tense: he will be my shield;
will be forever mine; his word my hope secures. Projecting things into the future,
whether by using "will be", "will have", or "hope" is a game of
the mind/false self/ego. Life is in the present moment. For Gods there
is no future in the sense the human mind likes to create/project.
There is "now". So the use of the present tense is more appropriate.
The fifth verse, the third line says: "I shall possess, within the veil,".
When your incarnation is over, and you, as the soul, return to "The Other
Side", there is no veil. You certainly won't consciously know everything
that is to know in Existence (nobody except for God of Gods does), but there
is no veil as such. Also, you don't, and cannot, possess anything. You can
have things for your use, but ultimately you don't own them.
It's OK to use "I shall possess..." as a poetic expression, as long
as you are aware of its limits.
"Me" refers to the body-mind, but you are not your body-mind.
The correct expression is "I". You can see this page for more info.
Here is how a more congruent Amazing Grace looks:
Amazing grace! (how sweet the sound)
That showed Gods' love to me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
’Twas grace that opened my heart,
And grace my fears reliev’d;
How precious did that grace appear,
The moment I truly lived!
Thro’ many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
’Tis grace has brought I safe thus far,
And Gods' Will on Earth is done.
Gods have showed the right path to I,
Their love my life secures;
They shield my soul from prying eyes,
As long as life endures.
Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I am guided to the Light,
To a life of joy and peace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But Gods, who know my real name,
Are forever mine.
When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing Gods' praise
Than when we first begun.
" Be living in God" or "be living in Christ" = "be living in love",
or "be loving". When you are loving, you are saved. Love is not
an emotion, love is a high-energy state of being. So when you are highly
energized = when you are healthy (as in your nervous system in a good shape),
you are saved. To be healthy, to be highly energized, to be loving, you need
to address the bases of true good health, as mentioned on the page
Good Health Trinity, plus
praying, plus
silent meditations.
People who believe in God and Christ, but they pollute their energy system with
toxins and don't take a good care of their bodies, can be stuck energetically,
that is spiritually, or even devolve. So the belief alone won't save them.
*Note: To resolve issues from previous incarnations, you can use
Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), that is practiced by
specially trained doctors, many of the chiropractors.
